The PPROM Perinatal / Neonatal Plan is a parent- and patient-developed planning guide for families navigating a PPROM pregnancy.
It helps parents think through questions and decisions that may come up around Expectant Management, hospitalization, premature birth, NICU care, delivery, pregnancy ending or loss, and other changes in care.
The Plan is meant to be a starting point for conversations with the healthcare team. It gives parents a place to record questions, preferences, priorities, and information they want their providers to know.
It is not a medical directive and does not recommend one course of care. PPROM pregnancies are different, and care may vary based on medical circumstances, hospital practices, available services, and state laws.
The goal of both guides is simple: to help parents and patients be informed, ask questions, and take an active role in decisions about their care.
